product information
NHDS's Hii™ (Health Information Index™) System is an efficient and secure technology that enables all healthcare stakeholders (providers across all specialties and disciplines, patients, researchers, payers and purchasers) to:
  • share, analyze, view and discuss any patient data at any time;
  • use the latest decision support tools and information; and
  • participate in continuous quality improvement processes.
The system can integrate with any EHR, CPOE, computerized practice guidelines, and knowledge management applications. It can use any practice guideline algorithms in its clinical pathways tool (CarePathWays Plus). And it can support peer to peer information sharing and virtual forums. All this can be accomplished using computer desktop applications and e-mail.

CP Split™ is NHDS's underlying technology which uses specially designed data files to store and distribute - in a very small, virus-proof text files - millions of pieces of data for a single patient or aggregate data for research. These data can originate from any data sources. The data files are consumed by configurable templates, which contain any required analytics, data transformation rules, and data formatting instructions that present the data in views tailored to the end users' needs.

NHDS is also part-responsible for a White Paper, published as a wiki, on problems with the US healthcare system and potential solutions (see links below for more information).
