summary	The portal provides Danish healthcare professionals and citizens direct access to the national healthcare system. For citizens, services include online access to healthcare information, health data (electronic patient medication records, medical history (view previous diagnoses and treatments...), health insurance details, appointment booking, e-mail consultations, prescription renewal, information on drugs (contraindications...) monitor drug compliance, access guidelines for health improvement (BMI, stopping smoking ...). For health professionals, services include web access to patients' medication records, medical records, laboratory data, access to clinical guidelines and pathways, hospital waiting list information.
