description
CACDDST is a computerised clinical diagnostic decision support tool. It is designed to be used principally as a disease reminder system for dealing with multiple disorders. An initial selection of clinical manifestations allows a list of possible diagnoses to be produced. Selecting keywords then allows the disease search to be narrowed further. The underlying technology, which uses a prepared disease database and is based on Bayesian methods, has been designed specifically for this system.
