SNOB is a freeware desktop SNOMED CT browser.

SNOB imports the SNOMED Core, national extensions, subsets, and cross mappings into a database. This database can then be browsed and searched. Many aspects of SNOB are user-definable, such as search filters and colouring schemes. SNOB supports multiple (optionally slaved) browsers on the same or different versions of SNOMED.

No installation is necessary, just download SNOB.zip, and unzip its contents anywhere on your hard disk, for example on your desktop for easy access. This also makes SNOB portable software. Simply pack SNOB (and one or more databases) on a USB stick and take it with you.
